The Ohio College of
Clinical Pharmacy is a chapter of the American College of Clinical
Pharmacy. The American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP) is a professional and scientific society that provides leadership, education, advocacy, and resources enabling clinical pharmacists to achieve excellence in practice and research.
ACCP's membership is composed of practitioners, scientists, educators,
administrators, students, residents, fellows, and others committed to
excellence in clinical pharmacy and patient pharmacotherapy.
Included in ACCP's mission are to:
-
Foster the growth of clinical pharmacy
services and promote their value in all health
care settings
-
Facilitate the performance, dissemination, and
application of pharmaceutical and biomedical
research
Promote excellence in all facets of clinical
pharmacy education
OCCP also believes
in these missions and support ACCP. To be a member of OCCP it is encouraged
that you be a member of ACCP,
however, this is not mandatory. We believe that members of OCCP
should have goals and objectives that shadow those of ACCP. We encourage
all pharmacists and students of pharmacy in the state of Ohio to
join!
