Our 2019 membership drive is now underway! Dues paid by December 31, 2018 will be applied to both 2018 and 2019 membership! New and current OCCP members can pay for membership here.
The Ohio College of Clinical Pharmacy is a chapter of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy. Our vision is to advance the common interests of clinical pharmacists to enhance patient care.

If you are attending the spring OCCP meeting, presentation slide sets are now available here! Copies of presentations will not be provided on the day of the meeting.
The OCCP Communications Committee is soliciting newsletter submissions for the Fall 2018 newsletter. Articles can be new drug updates or clinical pearls. The word limit is 500 words. This is a great opportunity for pharmacy students or residents to co-write an article with a preceptor! Additional submissions needed include college chapter updates. All submissions can be sent to Sandra Axtell (saxtell@ccf.org) by August 27, 2018.

Do you know an outstanding resident? Residency program directors and preceptors are encouraged to nominate a resident for the OCCP resident spotlight. Selected residents will be featured on the OCCP social media and biannual newsletter. Nominations can be submitted here.
The 2018 spring OCCP meeting will be held on Friday, June 1, 2018 at the NEW Center at NEOMED. Additional meeting information is available here.

We are pleased to announce registration is open for the Cleveland Clinic Preceptor Conference. The conference will be held on Friday, May 11 at the Intercontinental Hotel. This conference has been awarded 6 contact hours (0.6 CEUs) of continuing pharmacy education (ACPE credits).
Registration is online only. Pre-registration is required (i.e., no on-site registration). During registration, you will need to indicate novice track (<5 years of precepting experience) or advanced track (>5 years precepting experience) for the afternoon sessions.

On September 14-15, 2017, the Cleveland Clinic and Case Western Reserve University are hosting a 1.5 day symposium on Advanced Management issues in HIV Care.
The event takes place at the InterContinental Hotel at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus Cleveland, Ohio on Friday, September 15th with a keynote address on Thursday, September 14th at 6pm. Registration is free for pharmacy residents and $100 for pharmacists.

Apply now for the OCCP Board of Pharmacy Specialties Certification award. This award is for a qualified OCCP member interested in pursuing any of the Board Certification exams as offered by the Board of Pharmacy Specialties. There are up to 2 award winners who will each receive $1,000 total with half of the total prize to be put towards preparation to ensure successful certification. Nominate a colleague for the inaugural OCCP Pharmacist of the Year award. This award is to recognize an OCCP member who exemplifies clinical pharmacy practice through patient care, education, and research. The deadline for both awards is March 31st and the winners will be announced at the Spring OCCP meeting.
