Dear Ohio College of Clinical Pharmacy (OCCP) Membership,
It is with great pleasure that we announce the winners of the 2013 OCCP Student Travel Scholarship
which was approved at the spring 2013 meeting. This scholarship is intended to support student travel
to the 2013 annual American College of Clinical Pharmacy meeting in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We
approved two separate scholarships for up to $1,000 per recipient.
As you can imagine, we had very qualified candidates from across the state and thank all those who
applied. This year’s winners are Elizabeth Legros and Mary (Liz) Fredrickson both from the College of
Pharmacy at Northeast Ohio Medical University. We would like to thank the OCCP nominations
committee for selecting our winners and the OCCP members for being supportive of our students.
All the best,

In the spirit of our organizational mission – to advance common interests of clinical pharmacists to enhance patient care – we hope to identify from you, our membership, how we can best attain that goal. Over the past couple months, 22 OCCP members volunteered to assemble 3 small work groups to design and craft questions that would be formed into a survey. Check your inboxes (and possibly spam folders) for an individual link to the survey. It should take no more than 5 minutes of your time and will help shape the future of OCCP! The survey closes April 30th.
