OCCP Vision Survey

In the spirit of our organizational mission – to advance common interests of clinical pharmacists to enhance patient care – we hope to identify from you, our membership, how we can best attain that goal.  Over the past couple months, 22 OCCP members volunteered to assemble 3 small work groups to design and craft questions that would be formed into a survey.  Check your inboxes (and possibly spam folders) for an individual link to the survey.  It should take no more than 5 minutes of your time and will help shape the future of OCCP!  The survey closes April 30th.

BPS Award

The Ohio College of Clinical Pharmacy is once again taking submissions for the BPS Certification Award to support the advancement of new clinical pharmacists. Please find the detailed submission information here (login required), and consider applying or encouraging one of your colleagues to apply. This is a great way to support the advancement of clinical pharmacy practice among our new practitioners.

OCCP 2012 Elections

It has been a productive and successful year in the Ohio College of Clinical Pharmacy and it is now time to hold our annual elections which will elect our President-Elect and Secretary/Treasurer positions beginning 1/1/13. Please find the bios for our two candidates and the link to vote for each position in the Membership Votes section (login required). Voting will be open for 1 week and will close on 12/19/12 at11:59pm EST.

OCCP Spring 2013 Pharmacotherapy Updates

The OCCP Spring 2013 Meeting will be held on May 31, 2013 at the Marriott Cleveland Airport at 4277 West 150^th Street, Cleveland, Ohio.  

Michael Maddux, Executive Director of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy, will give the keynote address entitled "Getting the Medicines Right: How Clinical Pharmacy Will Contribute to the Health Care Teams of the Future."
